IMPORTANT for those struggling with a Mormon Transition:
Dr. John Dehlin and Noah Rasheta (Secular Buddhism) are co-developing a 1-Day advanced workshop to promote healing, mental health, and growth in a Mormon Transition. The workshop is based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (a cutting edge, empirically-supported form of cognitive behavioral therapy) and Noah’s work in secular buddhism. The content of this retreat has never been presented at previous Mormon Transitions events.
Situations relevant to this retreat include:
- Struggling through a faith crisis (meaning, purpose, morality, spirituality, community, etc.)
- Marital difficulty due to a faith crisis
- Communicating/dealing with believing family and friends after a faith crisis
- Parenting after a faith crisis
The retreat will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 from from 9am to 5pm. Lunch will be provided. We will likely go out to eat for dinner afterwards for those interested. Cost will be $125/person for the 1-day conference.
Please click this link to register for the retreat.
We are willing to hold the workshops in other cities (e.g., Phoenix, Boise, Southern California, Northern California, Las Vegas) depending on demand. If you would like us to hold the workshops in your area, please share the link with anyone in your area who might be interested. If we can get 20-30 people to confirm attendance, we are willing to hold the event in your area. Please email me at mormontransitions@gmail.com if you are interested in hosting your own workshop.
Just signed up. Where will the retreat be held?
